ACCESS SELF STORAGE
Harmonix Construction Ltd successfully completed four
mixed-use projects for Access Self Storage in the last
three years.
Balham. Access Self Storage required
this 40 week design and build project to create a additional
9,773m2 of storage space over a new 5 storey extension
and new office/reception to an existing storage facility.
The success of the project was due to careful management
of the logistics as the project was constructed on an
extremely confined site in South London. The footprint
of the building was within 1 metre of the boundary.
Clapham. This was the first Access
double basement store with challenging planning issues.
Access Self Storage required a design and build mixed
use office and storage building. Troy Hunter, Harmonix’s
director had a ‘hands on’ approach to this
project from start to finish, personally ensuring the
project was finished on time and to budget.
Stevenage. This was a mixed development
of light industrial speculative trade counter units
and 123,183 sqft of retail Self Storage. The main challenges
in this project were incorporating existing retaining
structures in the new development with extensive utility
services and modifications including a new sub station.
This was a flagship project for Harmonix in its new
Eastern region, continuing our expanding relationship
with
Access Storage.
Wandsworth. This project comprised
the design and build of a new office and self-storage
facility on a brownfield site. The development comprises
3 basement levels providing 158,000 sq ft of storage
and two upper levels of mixed use areas with serviced
offices, showrooms and training facilities constructed
by Harmonix Construction. This facility is the largest
underground self storage facility with three basement
levels and a total of 1,375 storage bins. |
