About Us...
Harmonix Construction Ltd was set up in December 1999 by the three directors Stephen Hawkes, Troy Hunter and John Farragher, all of whom have extensive experience of the building industry from within a major contractor. Their experience has been predominantly in London and the South East of England and covers all sectors of the market and ranges, in contract value terms, from projects measured in thousands of pounds to those measured in many millions.
Our aim is to develop the business into a gap in the current market place, where projects are of a size beyond the resources and expertise of small building contractors and yet are too small to engage the serious interest of the larger companies. We therefore offer the service level that should be expected of a major contractor, but focused on the successful delivery of smaller projects - and at the smaller company cost. Our policy is that all directors remain personally involved in all projects from appointment to completion.
As our name implies, we are committed to carrying out construction work in a flexible, constructive and non-adversarial manner, working in harmony with all other members of a project team. We believe that the creation of a new building, or the refurbishment of an old one, should be a source of satisfaction and enjoyment, not a cause of endless hassle and aggravation. Our flat management structure will ensure that every project is taken extremely seriously. A successful conclusion, and a fully satisfied customer, from each and every project will be of supreme importance to us.
In it's first year, Harmonix grew rapidly and undertook projects for such clients as Conde Nast Publications at Vogue House, Hanover Square, The Heron Corporation at Alton House, High Holborn to Longshot Ltd for their Health & Fitness Club at Brewer Street, Piccadilly. The value of work secured in 2000 totalled sitome £5million.
Our success continued through 2001 undertaking projects for Clients such as Henderson UK Property Fund at 167 Fleet Street and Corob Retail Investments at 22 Conduit Street.
Sadly, Stephen Hawkes passed away in April 2001, and in Stephen's memory, we are driven to continue to succeed. We are now looking forward to a prosperous 2002.
